Discovering My True Calling: A Journey from San Diego to Houston and Beyond - The Story of an Army Veteran Turned Escort and Entrepreneur
Growing up in San Diego was a fantasy. I remember the beautiful beaches, perfect weather, and endless opportunities for adventure. But life had other plans for me. When I was six, my family moved to Houston, where I would spend most of my childhood. It was in Houston where I faced some of the biggest challenges of my life and learned to persevere and push through adversity.
One of the most defining moments in my life occurred on my 18th birthday. I had flown to San Diego to celebrate with my boyfriend, but instead of a romantic weekend, I found out he had cheated on me. Devastated, I was faced with a difficult decision. I could either go back home to Houston and wallow in my sadness or stay in San Diego and make the most of my time there. I chose the latter, and it changed my life forever.
While in San Diego, I was offered the opportunity to star in an adult video in Los Angeles. It was a decision that I didn't take lightly, but ultimately, I decided to go for it. Not long after, I started escorting, which allowed me to explore my sexuality and make a living doing something I enjoyed.
But, as much as I loved San Diego, I knew I needed to return home to Houston. At 19, I joined the Army and served as a 15P Aviation Operations Specialist in the 101st Airborne in Ft. Campbell, KY. From there, I deployed to Afghanistan, where I was able to serve my country and gain invaluable experience that would help shape my future.
When I got out of the military in 2013, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do next. I attended various college programs, including restaurant management, veterinary assistant, business, welding, automotive technician, and construction. While each program taught me valuable skills, none of them felt like the right fit. No job felt right.
It wasn't until I started escorting again that I found my true calling. I love providing a nurturing and safe space for people who want to experience a different side of themselves. It's a profession that allows me to be creative, have fun, and make a difference in someone's life.
Looking to the future, I have big plans. I want to start a business that would help the community I work in. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, and I want to be a part of making that happen.
Through all of the ups and downs, I've learned that life is full of surprises. It's up to us to decide how we react to those surprises and what we do with the opportunities that come our way. I'm grateful for every experience that has brought me to where I am today, and I can't wait to see where my journey takes me next.
